دونت ميك ا ميستيك، ببخشين، اشتباه نكنين. من نميخوام اون رمان معروف بربادرفته رو براتون تعريف كنم يا معرفي كنم تا شما هم بريد و نخونيد! اگر به اون Level 4(Intermediate) دقت كنيد ميفهميد كه اين از جمله متون خلاصه شده رمانهاي خارجي براي آموزش زبان است. كتابهاي اين مجموعه كه به همت نشر قلمستان هنر در ايران چاپ شده است در اصل بازنويسي (تلخيص) و ويراستاري شده در همان بلاد كفرند. مثلا اين كتاب را John Escott تلخيص نموده ميباشد. ويراستار مجموعه اصلي هم Derek Strange است.

خوبي اين كتابها در حجم كم(50 الي 60 صفحه) ، رواني و سهولت فهم، سطح بندي و شايد مهمتر از همه آموزش زبان است.
كتابها در شش سطح دسته بندي ميشوند.
1. Beginner(300 Words)
2. Elementary(500 words)
3. Pre-Intermediate(1050 words)
4. Intermediate(1650 Words)
5. Upper Intermediate(2300 words)
6. Advanced(3000 Words)
يك معلم انگليسي داشتيم كه ميگفت با 2000 كلمه پر مصرف نيز ميتوان براحتي انگليسي را فهميد.
يك حصوصيت خوب ديگر اين كتابها، بازنويسي از بهترين فيلمها و رمان ها هستند.
دروازه هاي ستارگان، شجاع قلب، سياه زيبا، فارست گامپ، روباه، غرور و تعصب، متهم اصلي، 39 پله، سانتوريني و ....
آخر هر كتاب هم بخشي هست براي ”درك مطلب“.
من كه تا بحال كلاس زبان نرفتم(يعني خيلي كوچكتر كه بودم رفتم ولي تنها يك جلسه دوام آوردم) ولي جمله خوبي را بياد دارم:
“يك زبان جديد، يك دنياي جديد است.“
